How to Pack Your Pickleball Bag Efficiently

A simple system so you’re never digging around mid-session.

A well-packed bag means you’re not scrambling between games — everything has a place and you know exactly where it is.

1
Paddle(s) in a dedicated compartment
Keep paddles separated from shoes and sweaty gear — a padded sleeve or the bag’s dedicated slot works best.
2
Balls in a mesh or side pocket
Somewhere you can grab one without unzipping the main compartment.
3
Spare overgrip and edge guard
Small, easy to forget, genuinely useful to have on hand if a grip tears mid-session.
4
Water bottle in an external or insulated pocket
Accessible without opening the whole bag.
5
Shoes and a change of shirt at the bottom
Heaviest, least-needed-mid-session items go at the base.
A NOTE ON BAG CHOICE
