Paddle Covers and Cases: Worth the Investment?
An honest look at whether you need one, and what protects your paddle either way.
An honest look at whether you need one, and what protects your paddle either way.
Your paddle is likely the single most expensive piece of gear you own — worth thinking through how you’re protecting it in transit and storage.
A padded cover mainly guards against face scratches, edge dings from bumping around in a bag, and some protection from heat and moisture if left in a car. It won’t save a paddle from a hard drop or a serious impact — nothing short of a hard case really does that.
We don’t currently carry a standalone paddle cover or case as its own SKU. The Arronax DELLFORCE F1 bundle includes a neoprene cover with that specific paddle purchase, but it isn’t sold separately. If a dedicated cover is a priority for you, it’s worth checking with local sports retailers in the meantime — we may add one to the shop down the line.
An edge guard (RM12.54-RM19.99 in our shop) protects the most impact-prone part of the paddle for a fraction of the cost of a case, and a padded compartment in your bag handles the rest for most casual and club players.
