Playing Pickleball in Siem Reap
An honest look at a scene that’s just getting started.

Unlike Phnom Penh or Kuala Lumpur, Siem Reap doesn’t yet have a dedicated pickleball facility — worth knowing before you plan around it.
Rose Apple Square Park, announced in late 2025, includes a multi-sport court that supports pickleball alongside basketball, badminton, and kids’ football — a genuine first step for the city, even if it’s not a dedicated setup. Some hotels and vacation rentals in the area also list pickleball-friendly amenities.
If you’re visiting Siem Reap specifically to play, temper expectations — dedicated infrastructure here trails well behind Phnom Penh and Malaysia’s major cities. Reaching out to local expat and travel forums before your trip is currently the most reliable way to confirm what’s actually open.
Given how fast the sport has grown elsewhere in Cambodia, it’s reasonable to expect Siem Reap to catch up — we’ll update this guide as dedicated courts open.
